👋 Welcome to our first May briefing of our COVID-19 briefing.
This week, we've seen data that tells us tenants are looking for new houses, but struggling to find the right one to rent as barely any new homes are listed. In fact, many of the landlords we spoke to these days highlighted that the inability to list their new properties was a major concern - fortunately, a concern that we can address! 😄
Contact me at email@example.com to get your property first in line to list as we launch in summer 2020, with up to 4 months of free service if you sign up while our early access promo lasts - and after that, our low fee of 6% of monthly rent, so up to 3 times as little as traditional agents' fees.
What's new for tenants?
How about landlords...
- Airbnb instated 24 hour cool-off periods that hosts must schedule inbetween guests in their flats, showing the growing importance of firms' sanitation efforts. You can read our own policy on how we keep you safe when shooting properties here.
- Build to Rent landlords have been praised for continuing to provide high quality service to their tenants during the outbreak, even as more of their units remain vacant.
How about sales?
- A new summary shows the impact of COVID-19 on the sales market so far in numbers: 400,000 transactions have been halted by the outbreak, putting £82 bn of sales value on hold.
